What TillProof stores

We store account details, venue configuration, till-close data, audit revisions, invitations, subscription identifiers and essential product events needed to operate and improve the service. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes and session tokens are hashed before database storage.

Why we process it

We process this information to provide the service, preserve financial close history, prevent unauthorized access, support billing, diagnose failures and improve the closing workflow.

Processors

Infrastructure may use Vercel for application hosting, Neon for database hosting, and Stripe for subscription billing. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by TillProof.

Retention and deletion

Financial close revisions are intentionally durable because auditability is a core service feature. Account owners may request an export or deletion of their organization, subject to legal retention requirements.
